Great stay

Great place, amazing pool and breakfast. Great location. Pool is just amazing. Rooms are massive too, huge bathroom area too. Huge balcony too

Just when we arrived we were given a room next to reception and the music from the bar could be heard clearly so we asked to move and luckily were. Under the bed had not been cleaned but I advised reception and they came and Cleaned this

Superb

This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. We liked the location most and we were also upgraded to a better room which made the experience amazing as we stayed 4 nights. It was really comfortable and clean and had all the essentials we needed. Room was cleaned every day and breakfast is ok too (not the best but very manageable).

There was construction going on to the main lobby during our stay.

Good and not so good…..

The hotel is great design. Pool is fabulous. Rooms are wonderful.

On booking.com it does not advertise hotel is having huge renovations. Only one person spoke English so communication very difficult. Breakfast foods were not all marked ‘vegetarian’ or ‘non vegetarian’ and as vegetarians and w/o English speaking, this made it very difficult.

Beautiful location, lovely pool, stay tarnished by excruciating loud renovations

The location was the best, just away from the hustle and bustle of AO Nang Street. Had many great restaurants, Bars and a good, big 7-11 nearby for water and snacks. Loved the pool area, pool drink where great, happy our was great, however, bar staff english was not great and was hard to tailor a cocktail to our liking. Drink prices were great, pool snack menu was not flash, small portions. We ended up eating lunch out each day. Lot's of great places to get massages around the hotel. We plan to go back and will stay here again when the renovations are finished.

We loved this hotel, however we were not informed about the renovations. I booked 8 months ago, an email from the hotel would not have gone astray to let us know the hotel was under renovations. Not noise was excruciating and constant from morning to 5pm each day except on a Sunday. Having a pool entry room was right next to all the noise, this was a massive no no during our stay. If we had know earlier and given notice, we would have booked another hotel. They did offer us another nearby hotel to stay at, but we felt a move mid break was a painful disruption. Added to the above, my husband picked up COVID. so having the pool access room with day bed on it was conducive for me to spend my time away from him while he slept it away. The breakfast was average, same everyday which did get boring staying for 6 nights. The breakfast area albeit was under renovation, the makeshift breakfast area was hot and cooled with fans only.

Stayed here for a week. Great hotel, great stuff. Very nice pool. Not far from the both beaches, it's just between of them so location is great.

Wonderful

Excellent location. Conveniently close to everything but away from the noise. Huge swimming pool with a pool bar that opens daily till 8pm.

Breakfast can be improved, but for the price, is reasonable enough. Noise from on-going construction, but this is temporary.

Nice place

Beautiful and very special hotel in the heart of AoNang area, close to the beaches, just few steps to nearest night market with delicate food, close to the shops and travel agents. The accommodation was clean and our kids loved the big pool. Happy hours for drinks during the afternoon. Breakfast very good.

The room was dark, I would appreciated much more light.

Exceptional

Great location, close to both beaches. Great facilities. The restaurant is great for lunch as it is worth the value for money. Breakfast also is varied and fantastic. The views of the restaurant are nice facing the swimming pool. Staff was friendly and the room facing the swimming pool was nice too.

The rooms facing the back lack of natural light and due to the type of lighting there is not even artificial light. Also, one of the toilets in one if the facing back rooms, even if maintenance tried to fix it, kept flushing itself.

LOVE IT.

I love staying here and I was given a lovely room which exceeded my expectations. The Staff are always helpful/friendly and I hope to visit this hotel again next year.

I see that Red Ginger Chic has now Thai Boxing Classes. On Monday 17th Feb myself and other guests were treated to (Wether We Liked It Or Not) the most awful noise coming from the Thai Boxing Class. The shouts and grunts that came from these 2 young men who I imagine were aspiring to be another Bruce Lee resonated around the pool area. I don't think that Thai Boxing Classes are suitable for this hotel. I love the sound of people around the pool area talking, children playing and the gentle sounds of music coming from the poolside bar.

We stayed at the hotel once before and would definately return again

The hotel is in a great location, they offer a good Breakfast offer, and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

I believe that guests should not be able to reserve sunbeds by putting towels on them. There where many examples of towels being left all day with nobody on the bed.
